"Jubilo Project" Art Camp "The space between us" - Group En δυνάμει - Ark for the Disabled - D.P.E.T.E. Kozani

The group En Dynami, a mixed independent artistic group consisting of members with and without disabilities, in the context of promoting the educational and social role of theatre, organizes from 3 to 9 August 2015 the weekly educational-artistic programme "Jubilo" on the theme "The space between us".

Artistic Direction Eleni Demopoulou

In what way does a movement, a sound, a word or an image reveal the inner character or the very history of the individual and defines the "space between us"?

The program is carried out in cooperation with the Center for Rehabilitation, Day Care, Day Care for People with Disabilities "KIVOTOS" based in Kozani and the Department of Social Services of Kozani.
The workshop is led by the internationally renowned artists Alexandra Kazazou and Carol Yarek.

It is an art camp and a 7-day programme of special educational experiential workshops, aiming to develop a methodology for the integration of people from vulnerable groups in society, as well as the promotion of the artistic abilities of people with and without disabilities.

As a conclusion of the project, a presentation of the action and an exhibition with a photographic record will be held and presented to the general public on August 9, 2015 at the "KIVOTOS" Day Care Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled at its headquarters in Argilos, Kozani.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE "ARK"

http://www.kivotos-amea.gr/

"Kivotos" is the first Centre for Rehabilitation, Day Care, Day Care for people with disabilities that operates in our country with a public authority license since 2000. At Kivotos, with knowledge and respect, we work daily, the rehabilitation team together with the family, to support the needs of children who need special therapeutic intervention and education to enjoy the joys of life as all children should! In our exciting journey our only bosom is the laughter of our children. It is this laughter that keeps our ship well sailed...it is the compass to our vision of offering children their inalienable right to a brighter tomorrow.
