The experiential workshop "Octopus Society", implemented by the En Potential group after the performance, can be addressed to any audience. It has already been carried out with schoolchildren, with very substantial results.

The workshop attempts to strengthen in the participants the feelings of equality, equity and empathy, as well as to open the way for reflection and dialogue on issues disability, diversity, justice and bullying.

On the occasion of the short story by Alexandros Papadiamantis Wutu Wupatu, which touches on timeless social issues, encourages the development of emotional intelligence and identification with the heroes of the play. Participants are invited to "put themselves in their shoes", to reflect and imagine a more just and inclusive world.

With the help of theatrical form, of physical expression and of interactive activities, the actors converse with the audience and guide them towards a new inclusive society, far from stereotypes and prejudices.

The key questions addressed are:

  • How does it feel to be "different"?

  • What do we take for granted in the world around us?

  • What makes us stand out - and what unites us?

  • What is the relationship between disability and aspects of social life?

  • How do others see me and how do I see myself?

  • What would I ask of people if I could?

  • What can I offer the world?
