A Performance about Disability and Friendship

The performance "Wootoo Wopatu" is a moving narrative that highlights the power of friendship, trust and love in the context of disability and diversity. Based on the deeply human short story by Alexandros Papadiamantis, the performance highlights a contemporary interpretation of a work written a century ago, reflecting the realities and stories of 21st century children and adolescents.

The actors, both with and without disabilities, join forces in a unique troupe, taking the audience on a journey of discovery and evolution. Through the performance, audiences have the opportunity to journey through the extremes of the human experience, exploring the world of diversity and disability, as well as the power of solidarity and love.

Through the theatre and education programme "Octopus Society", the performance is not only presented to the audience, but also opens a dialogue with students of high schools all over Greece.

Through workshops and discussions, the performance engages young people's thoughts on issues such as disability, diversity and justice, challenging them to think and act for a more inclusive and just society.

From the emotional performances of the actors to the careful staging and original music, "Wootoo Wootoo" is a stirring experience that showcases the power of theatre to unite, provoke thought and inspire action for a better world.
